A film by Lindy van Hillo, where I worked as the producer. It screened on Filmfestivals such as FTAB, Canes Indie Shorts Awards, VersFilmfestival and won Best Actress and Actor at the New York film & Actress Awards.

It is about three different protagonists whose intimate relationships develop through several time levels in which memories and the effects of decisions inevitably link the past and the present.

In this project, Ricky works through his grief over his father's passing, with the help of music and film. The release include his short film "things I would tell my dad" in addition to his debut album as a singer-songwriter. The emotional story is based on his own experiences and you will feel his true emotions throughout the film and music.

Where does the hate come from?

"Where does the hate come from?" is a documentary film that focuses on issues such as racism, identity and overcoming differences.

Three groups of students are confronted with each other coming from Germay and Israel, which of one part identifies as Iraeli and the other mostly as Bedouin Palestinians.

Under the direction of Hedi Bouden, they explore the question, "Where does the hate come from?" in relation to the Israel-Palestine conflict and create a play that reflects their own stories. The Germans form a bridge here to help the two other sides to open a dialogue with each other.

During the process the students run into problems, the Germans can't find an access to the two other groups, the Israelis can't open up properly, and the Palestinians have language barriers. Will the project ultimately fail? In the end, the students manage to put on a play that moves hearts and encourages further dialogue.

The project was accompanied by our cameras.

I was the assistant to Martin Steimann, the director of this project, and resposible for filming as second camera and main editing.

The film premiered at the "Nordische Filmtage" Filmfestival in Lübeck, Germany.

Further Festivals include the Human Rights Are Universal Arts Festival in Uganda 2024, the Courage Film Festival 2024, Capital Filmmakers Festival Berlin 2024, Stockholm City Film Festival 2024,Winner of Shimon-Peres-Preis 2023, Winner of The Bridge of Peace Film Festival in France 2024 and Winner of the Love Peace and Freedom Film Festival 2024.

L'Occitane

During my internship at the hybrid production studio SEHSUCHT in Germany, I worked in the art department and as assistant producer on all kinds of projects. The highlight of my time there was the Christmas movie that we produced for L'Occitane, which was shown all around the world in their stores and online.
